Qatar Airways begins cargo operation in Guarulhos

As part of a commercial strategy to attract new cargo flights to Guarulhos, GRU Airport - International Airport of São Paulo – received on November 17 the first of 11 non-regular cargo flights from Qatar Airlines. Until December, there will be 10 more flights from the Doha-Guarulhos route. Flights will be carried out with a Boeing 777F, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

With this, GRU Airport strengthens its leadership among airports in Brazil as far as inbound international cargo. Until October this year, Guarulhos has 41% market share of airborne imports and exports. At the end of 2015, it was 38%.
